The bed was very comfortable, the shower was really nice, and it was excellent value for what I paid. It's also very handy for Sants station, less than a 10-minute walk away. I just wish other guests would shut the doors without slamming them.

I'm Chinese, and I experienced racism at this hotel. I couldn't come and go freely because I had to call each time, and often nobody answered, leaving me stuck. When I was about to check out, I asked why this was happening. The front desk clerk smiled and spoke aggressively, saying I was being annoying. I told him this should have been explained to me beforehand, and he replied, “I told you now.” His manner was extremely unfriendly. I also felt strong racial discrimination during check-in. The front desk clerk and another staff member kept chatting, holding up my check-in for a long time. I'd paid, so why wasn't I treated with basic respect? It was a terrible and sad experience, and I strongly recommend against staying here.

Reception was staffed at all times, and the price included a basic breakfast. It's easy to find and extremely handy for Sants Train Station.

The hotel sits in a calm, pleasant neighborhood, with two Metro lines nearby and good local restaurants all around. It's a great small budget hotel, and we got room service every day. Breakfast was included, with enough food and a good variety. The walls are thin, as everywhere in Spain, so take earplugs for better sleep. If I come back to Barcelona, I'll stay only here. I left with lovely memories and would be very happy to return.
