There are shops, churches and places to eat all over the Gothic quarter, and the hotel is great value right in the middle of it. Our room had a TV that connected to the internet and DTV, plus a nice shower and a clean bathroom. Everyone was warm and friendly. The restaurant staff answered our questions, and reception made us feel safe and at home. They were also very helpful about making sure we were comfortable. Perfect.

We paid a lot, but that seems normal for Barcelona. The room was basic and had everything we needed, with an en-suite bathroom. It was clean and quiet, and the staff were friendly. The hostal is right in the Gothic quarter, about three minutes from the metro and close to lots of places. We'd highly recommend it.

The breakfast was fresh, had a nice range of options, and felt worth the price we paid with the room. Our room was clean and quiet, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions for local areas. The Christmas market was right nearby, in front of the Cathedral. We had a smooth stay with only pleasant surprises, and would come back.

The location was wonderful, but that's about all I liked. The place was overpriced and loud, although the location made the noise manageable for me. The man at the front desk with dark hair and black glasses was extremely rude the whole time. I also cut my foot in the shower because it wasn't properly built, and had trouble walking for the rest of my trip. I wouldn't stay here again.

The room and bathroom were both great, and the service was fantastic. When I checked in, I realized I'd left my passport and wallet in the safe at my previous hostel in Madrid. The guy checking me in immediately called the hostel, confirmed they had my things, and helped arrange for them to hold onto everything for me. The location was great too.
