Hostal MiMi Las Ramblas

The smell hit me as soon as I came in, like dampness and old drains, and things looked worse the more I looked around. There was mold in the corners, stains all over the walls, and furniture that seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The bathroom was a nightmare, and the noise at night kept me from sleeping. I really wanted to like it because the location on La Rambla is perfect, but it felt like the place had been completely abandoned. Don't let the convenient location fool you. It isn't worth the headache or the smell. Find somewhere else.

The towels were dirty, the room hadn't been cleaned properly, and the washroom smelled bad. The hygiene and cleanliness were well below what I expected. I was very disappointed with the stay.

The staircase was covered in mold and the place smelled terrible. I was surprised we didn't get sick. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Our check-in was at 2pm, but the receptionist said the room hadn't been cleaned and told us to come back in an hour. We had to take our bags and luggage out into the city because they said they weren't responsible if anything happened to them if we left them at reception. When we came back an hour later, our room still wasn't ready. They offered us a ready room where we'd have to share a bathroom, or we could wait for our own room. We waited another hour.

The rooms were as bad as the stairs, and the bathroom was falling apart. Everything smelled awful. The staircase was a wreck, full of mold and bugs, with crumbling walls, used tissues, a dead rat, and a few cockroaches. Don't trust the pictures, apart from the outdoor ones, the rest are fake. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!
