What a joke. You pay extra for the most basic things, and they don’t even make the bed, it’s completely bare. Reception says “we’re a hostel” as if that explains the standard. What am I paying for? It’s a four-bed room but there’s only one key unless you pay extra.

€180 for one night, and a four-star place costs the same while giving you a lot more amenities. The value for money was the biggest disappointment, and the price feels way overestimated. TrashyTwenty would be a more appropriate name. The staff are very touchy, so be careful how you speak to them.

The room was clean and the staff were really nice and helpful. We had a private room for 4 and it was great. There were useful things like lockers, a kitchen, and games, and it was quiet, with no bother from cars or anything else. We’d definitely come back.

It’s easy to reach the main tourist spots from the hostel if you don’t mind walking for 20 minutes. Razzmatazz club is very close, but we didn’t have any noise issues. The room had reasonably good facilities for the price, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I found the accommodation comfortable and got a restful night, so I’d give that 4 stars. The staff were friendly, earning 4 stars for service. My concerns were handled promptly and satisfactorily, which deserves 5 stars. I had an enjoyable stay at Twentytu Hostel Barcelona and would recommend it for the service and overall quality.
