This is a simple, pleasant hostel in a central area, and the price is modest. It has what you need, including heating and a private bathroom. The room isn’t very spacious, but it’s fine for a day or two. I’d come back.

I was visiting a friend who was staying here. It’s very basic. Some rooms have poor ventilation, and the lighting is dim. There was usually nobody at reception, even during the day. :(

The best thing about Hostal Avenida Cuenca is its location, very close to the famous "Casas Colgadas". The customer service is wonderful, and you can order plenty of traditional Cuenca dishes there too. I think it’s a remarkable place to visit.
