The noise at night was horrible. You could hear everything from other rooms, from people shouting for hours until midnight to a neighbor’s alarm that woke the whole building except its owner. It rang for at least 40 minutes. With no proper windows in the room and the bedroom window giving people outside a direct view in, the place felt unsettling. The room looked nothing like the pictures on booking.com, and it was very strange that we couldn’t call the establishment. We were told it was ready, but when we tried to move in, cleaning was still happening and we had to wait another 15 minutes. I’ll absolutely never come back.

For €200 a night, and with an 8+ rating on booking, I expected something much better. If I could give zero, I would. I don’t know what to do, but I’m going to complain a lot. This place can hardly be called a hotel. The room had no real window, just some sort of frosted glass you couldn’t see through. When I booked, I asked if there were windows and they said yes, but didn’t explain what kind. Still, that’s small compared with how impossible it was to sleep: you could hear everything, even a neighbor’s phone vibrating, and then his alarm went off at 6 a.m. and woke me up too.

The location is great and the bedroom area is nice, though the door is very hard to close. The apartment is average, and a bit more attention to detail would help because several essentials don’t work properly. There’s barely any storage space, and the kitchen is missing basics like a spatula. The shower’s hot water runs out quickly, so only one person can shower at a time. Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all, and staff read messages without replying. That’s why I’m writing this review.

We had a quiet, safe room with everything we needed, and I’d gladly return. It had a good bed, clean towels, closets and a safe, plus a shower with excellent water temperature. The kitchenette was well equipped with a two burner electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, iron, hairdryer, sink and utensils. Reception was quick and friendly. The hotel is in an excellent area, near shopping centers, markets, convenience stores, the Metro station (Noviciato) and tourist attractions. I recommend it. Congratulations to the management. My tip: don’t miss medieval Toledo. Take Metro line 2 Red to Noviciato Station, then after 3 stops get off at Sol station. Change to Metro line 1 Blue toward Valdecarros, and after 4 stations get off at Atocha station. Buy a train ticket there to the final station in Toledo. For this route, the round trip to Noviciato station costs EUR 26.65 per person.
