The breakfast was poor. For the first two days it was just a small plastic-wrapped croissant and muffin, served on plastic plates with coffee in a disposable cup. The common room was filthy too, with coffee stains left on the table for days. The place itself was dirty, and only two of the three staff seemed to make an effort to be friendly. Before my friends arrived late at night, I asked a woman if I could reserve a spot for them under my name and pay right away. She said no, they had to check whether any beds were still available, and arranging it seemed like too much trouble. After I arrived, I left my bag by my bed and went out. When I came back half an hour later, it was gone. One woman told me she'd moved it to another room because one of the other 14 people could have taken it. She was angry and rude when explaining this, then charged me 2 euros for the other room. That evening, when my friends showed up, she complained about me to one of them, saying I should have put the bag in the closet beside the bed and had no right to be upset that she'd taken it.
