The room was very simple and old-fashioned, with what looked like a computer monitor for a TV, and only two plugs in the room plus one in the bathroom. If you're used to fancy places, this style might not be for you. Still, I was grateful for the experience of travelling across spain and getting to know the little town of Mojácar. The sea-facing balcony was lovely, and the hostess was amazing, ready to help in the middle of the night. The same helpfulness was there at checkout. I'd miss it just for sleeping :)

The room had a lovely sea view, and we were greeted warmly. The little hotel is lovely, even though it's very dated and could do with a full revamp. Don't let that put you off.

Sol Arena, the beach bar that's part of the hotel, is where we like to sit with a nice drink and watch people go by. The staff are really friendly and understand English.

Our favourite chirringuito in Mojacar. The tapas are excellent and the cocktails are the best, with beautiful views. There's a beach here too, with parasols and sunbeds to rent.

It's very clean and in a good location, but the place feels worn out and really old. It needs a complete revamp. I was shocked they don't accept card payments.
