The only real positives were the location and the friendly woman at reception. The building felt old and worn, like it hadn’t been renovated, and it didn’t seem worth what I paid for a four-star hotel. There was no digital air conditioning, just some old heater or something, and the TV wasn’t smart. I don’t understand Spanish, so I couldn’t really watch the channels. For the first three nights there weren’t even covers on the duvets, just stained blankets that were never changed. The minibar was empty except for opened sweets left by previous guests. No kettle, coffee, or tea either, and we didn’t get fresh glasses for three days. The room safe didn’t work, and there were no power outlets on both sides of the bed. I’m attaching photos with this review.

We loved the breakfast each morning, especially the fresh toasties, omelettes, and crepes, and the fruit was really fresh. Our balcony room had a wonderful beach view, the air conditioning worked great, and the clean pool was a nice temperature. The loungers were never busy, and the hotel was generally very quiet. Cala Major is lovely, with the beach just a stone’s throw away. It’s also well placed for buses into Palma and not far from the airport. The staff were all friendly, though it would have been helpful if someone spoke English, and the hotel could have been a little cleaner. Neither was a big issue for us. We had a lovely stay and would happily go back.

There are lots of restaurants around the hotel, with several national cuisines to choose from. The breakfast was a classic hotel spread with a very good selection, and the staff were friendly and always available. The location is excellent, right on the coast, a minute’s walk from the beach, with good bus connections to central Palma.

The stunning sea view from our room made up for a lot, and the location was lovely. The hotel is basic and a little dated, but clean. Our first room was very small, though Valeria at the front desk kindly helped us get an upgrade, which made a big difference. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, while the restaurant staff felt less welcoming. Breakfast was simple but enough. A decent stay if you’re after a nice location and great views.
