We booked just a week ahead for an off-season long weekend and were upgraded to a top-floor sea-view room with a huge balcony. The views over Palma, with the marina and port in front, were amazing. The hotel has clearly been renovated recently. Our room was spotless and modern, the bathroom had great amenities and a rainfall shower, and the bed was huge and comfy. They'd left a couple of Lindt chocolates by the bed, and the paid minibar was well stocked and fairly priced. There were also two free bottles of water. The outside bar and pool were closed because of off-season renovation work, but that didn't affect us since we wouldn't have sat outside anyway. From the balcony we could see the area will be lovely once finished, and the pool looks a good size for summer. While we waited for the room, we were offered two glasses of cava, a lovely touch. Staff were so friendly, especially Diane, and everyone went above and beyond. Parking costs 22 euros a day, which is on the expensive side, though free spaces can be found on nearby streets. The hotel is atop a hill, about a 45-minute walk into town, or a 7-euro Uber ride. A big shopping center is 10 minutes away on foot. A really great location. Thanks for everything, we'd return!

We spent five days here and used a couple of different rooms. They were comfortable and well kept, and everything went well throughout the stay. The service was outstanding. We didn't use the outdoor pool because it was off season, but the indoor one was really nice. There was plenty of choice in the food, and it was good too. A very pleasant visit, and we'd happily come back.

The team were polite, efficient, and genuinely helpful the whole time, and their professionalism made the stay more pleasant. The balcony was a nice touch too. But the room facilities feel outdated. The bathroom has visible wear and needs repair, and the shower area seemed to be under maintenance, which was inconvenient. It was surprising that basic things like toothbrushes weren't provided for a hotel of this level. Parking is quite limited and can be difficult. The staff deserve praise, but in 2025 the hotel itself feels too old and needs significant updates to match the quality of its team.

The views were fabulous, looking out over the shipping coming and going, which we enjoyed, even though the hotel is a little farther from the old town. We took a short trip with my granddaughter and were delighted we chose Catalonia Majorica. The hotel is lovely, with comfortable rooms, and Christina at reception made us feel welcome right away. Everyone working there was genuinely fabulous. We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The staff were the best part, so kind and welcoming. Catalonia Majorica was very clean, the room was well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and it had all the basic amenities. We enjoyed the food too. The location is great, and the private lift/cable car down to the main street is such a convenient, unusual feature. We'd definitely return.
