I found out a week before arriving, during peak season, that the hotel had lost my reservation. I’d paid a €130 deposit four months earlier. They eventually refunded it, but left me scrambling for somewhere to stay at short notice, and the alternatives cost much more. Hotel Le Dahu offered no help, even though the mistake was theirs. It was extremely stressful, and I’d avoid booking here.

After a full day of rain on our TMB trip, our boots were soaked. The girl at reception kindly let us dry them on the ski boot warmer, and they were ready by morning. We only stayed one night, but the spacious room and big balcony were lovely. Breakfast was possibly the best of our trip, delicious and generous. Thanks for looking after us.

For the price, the room was a really good standard. It was a decent size, the bed was comfortable, and there was a hairdryer. The location on the main road was great, and the ski room has heated boot racks.

Right in town, which was great, but check what room you’re booking. We had two: one was cute and pleasant, while the other was tiny with a pretty gross carpet. Its bathroom was private but across the hall, which was unexpected and might not suit everyone. The balcony was nice, though.
