Beautiful Apartment - 6p-auteuil/saint Cloud

After Checkmyguest supposedly canceled my stay, I kept getting WhatsApp messages and emails offering paid extras like early check-in, even though the accommodation was said to be unavailable. The initial cancellation came only a few days before my Paris trip, sent unofficially on WhatsApp rather than through the booking platform, with major renovations given as the reason. The message opened with “I hope you are doing well,” which felt cynical given the timing. Instead of canceling officially or starting a refund, the host told me to cancel myself, which would have meant paying the full amount under the policy. Be aware you could be left without a place to stay and still have to cover the cost. I strongly advise against booking with this provider.
