Green Park Hotel Paris

The breakfast was a real plus, with lots of choice for 15 euros, and the staff were extremely friendly, especially the woman serving breakfast. The rooms were clean, but basic. I didn't enjoy the room much. The window in my third-floor room wouldn't open, so I was moved to the second floor, where the nearby neighbors across the street made it feel a bit claustrophobic. One morning the water never got comfortably warm, possibly because many guests were showering at once and the hotel's system couldn't keep up. Given the room quality, price, and distance from the city center, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

The breakfast buffet had a decent selection, but the cold cuts seemed to be reused from one day to the next and smelled off. The chicken ham was sticky, so I'd avoid anything that needs refrigeration at breakfast. We returned for a second stay because the first had been satisfactory, and this time was a disappointment. The room was smaller, which by itself was fine, but we couldn't use the shower because there was no hot water. An apology alone didn't feel adequate. A gesture of goodwill would have helped, and refunding the night we didn't spend there was simply the bare minimum. The two stars are for the welcoming staff and the location. I'd check there was hot water before booking.

The neighborhood was quiet and not touristy, with a lovely park and metro nearby, plus plenty of cafés, shops, and restaurants. We had a spotless, modern, comfortable room at Green Park Hôtel with our 6-month-old. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to arrange an early check-in after our overnight flight. We'd highly recommend it.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and nice. It's far from town and the Eiffel Tower, but we managed.
