The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is central in Montmartre, close to lots of bars, cafes, and restaurants. It was lively enough that on weekends we could hear partygoers from our windows. That’s about all I can praise. Our one-week stay cost 4000 USD, and the price didn’t match the experience at all. We were disappointed in our hotel choice, the Manolita, which felt like a standard three-star place at best, not the “VIP Luxury” hotel it claims to be. We arrived cold and tired after a long transatlantic flight and just wanted a warm shower and a nap. When we asked about early check-in, a staff member said it would cost another 200 euro. I’ve never been asked to pay extra for that before. Every other time, staff have checked whether the room was ready, and if it was, it wasn’t a problem. High-end hotels with good service are happy to do this. The decor looks elegant in pictures, but in person it felt cheap and faux fancy, especially in the common areas. We never ate or drank at the lobby bar. It was tiny and uninviting, always empty, and looked like a makeshift staff room with coats and takeaway lunch boxes on otherwise bare tables. At around 30 euros each for breakfast, just coffee, orange juice, and pastries, we chose to eat elsewhere. After that cold welcome, I tried to avoid the staff as much as I could. We weren’t impressed. I don’t have much positive to say. If you want a charming, upscale Parisian stay, this isn’t it.

The room was lovely and well finished, and my wife really enjoyed our stay. The front desk women were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple, but we could have it in the room. We also ate at a couple of excellent places nearby. Les Copains D'aboard was close and we loved it, with a laundry just across from the restaurant, which was handy. This is a small boutique hotel, so don't expect the facilities of a large chain. We had a great time and would recommend it. Thanks for a nice stay.

The welcome was warm, and check-in was quick and easy. The staff made it feel like no request was a bother. I wasn't sure how quiet it would be so close to the nightlife, but I had one of my best hotel stays in Paris. Montmartre is a great base. Moulin Rouge, Scare Coeur and the metro are all an easy walk away. The rooms look beautiful, with a lavish black and gold Art Deco style, and there's a cozy bar for a relaxed drink with gentle music in the background. I'd happily recommend it.

We had a Premium Double Room with a Balcony, and the hotel staff made me feel so confident. One woman complimented Nick and me every day. Love you, girl, you know who you are! The food was also incredibly delicious. Cheers to Manolita Paris! We were in Paris together, visiting The Louvre, Disneyland and the Eiffel Tower, and we also stopped at an amazing macaron bakery. I heard The Louvre had been robbed, which is rough, right? My ex-husband kept texting about our kids, even though we've had them for years, and it completely ruined the mood. I had a full-on nervous breakdown and felt embarrassed, but Nick comforted me and said the sweetest, most encouraging things. It meant a lot. Nick, my boyfriend, was a model, like me, as my watermarked portrait suggests. We had fun talking about our modeling experiences and the differences between men's and women's modeling. It makes sense that he's a model, he's very hot. Anyway, I get sidetracked a lot, bad habit of mine.

The location made it easy to enjoy the district, with lots of great local cafes nearby. We spent a week here on a girls trip and I'd come back in a heartbeat. The rooms were elegant and clean, with everything we needed. Staff were lovely, attentive and always ready to help. We often ordered breakfast room service, and it always met or beat our expectations. I can't understand giving this hotel less than five stars, and would highly recommend it.
