The staff were kind and did their best to help, but the room itself was tiny. There was barely space to open our suitcases, and the bed was small too. The bathroom facilities, especially, felt old and a bit worn down. The soap in both the sink and shower was thick and lumpy, wouldn’t pump or lather, and we ended up opening the dispensers to scoop it out. It seemed more like lotion than soap. We’d expected to be very close to Gare de Lyon, but it’s around a 600-700m walk, which was hard with several suitcases. Our room was on the top floor, right by the stairwell, and that made us a little uneasy with small kids. The price felt high, probably because it was peak season, compared with other hotels that had larger, better rooms.

The rooms were really comfortable, and I loved seeing separate recycling bins. We were especially grateful that the staff could make space for our two large pieces of luggage. Everyone was fantastic and ready to help with anything. We only wish we’d stayed longer and had a chance to try breakfast. Zazie Hotel was a real delight.

The room was basic but very clean, and the team were friendly. Breakfast was really good too. For the price, it was what you’d expect. I loved staying at Hotel Zazie and its ethos is rare to find. I’d definitely come back and support it again.

Our family of three was fine in the small rooms, and the metro is just a short walk away. Breakfast was great, and we found the stay at zazie to be very good value. It got a little hot without air conditioning, but with the window open and the fans, we were comfortable enough. We’d stay again.

We only had a quick overnight stop, but it was a great base for making the most of a layover and getting around the city. It’s handy for Gare de Lyon and a few Metro lines. The cheerful room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the price was fantastic for Paris. The staff were friendly too. Couldn’t have been happier.
