There’s enough space in the room and it’s fine overall. The bathroom and ventilation system seemed a bit neglected, though. They should spend more time cleaning, especially the ventilation, since it’s at an easy-to-reach height.

Having our suite on the ground floor was a relief, since there’s no elevator and the residence has three floors. We had five large bags, so carrying them upstairs would have been very hard. Cleaning is only every three days, which were the two things we missed. The office has set working hours rather than a 24/7 reception, so you need to book an exact arrival time to get your keys. They do have lockers where you can leave your bags after checkout if you still have time in the city. We booked for four, two adults and two kids. The suite was huge and beautiful, and having a terrace made the experience incredible. The bathroom items were all Clarins. The residence is in the center of Strasburg, so it’s easy to get around. The residence crew were very helpful when the bank charged me twice for the suite. They reported it to me and gave me all the documents I needed to follow up with the bank, and the issue was solved. It was a very, very great experience, and I’d definitely repeat it a thousand times.

A washing machine and dryer were available downstairs, but no one mentioned them when we checked in. It would have been useful to know so we could have clean clothes, and I knocked off a point for that. The stay was otherwise wonderful. The beds were really comfortable, the bathroom was modern, and the shower had good pressure. It stayed cool in the heat, with a nice garden area, and the WiFi was fast enough for streaming movies. The location worked perfectly for us, with a short walk to the centre, cafes and a small supermarket nearby. The tram stop is 2 minutes away and goes to the main train station. A taxi was convenient and cost only €16.

We almost didn’t stay because I worried the apartment was too far away, but it turned out to be a perfect location. Everything was minutes away on foot, and being over the bridge made it very quiet at night. Just to the right outside the apartment, beside the court building, there’s a fantastic restaurant that fitted us in late. The onglet with shallots was the best, and they had burgers for the children. We were a family of four in the deluxe apartment, and it was much bigger than I expected. There was a bedroom with a queen bed, plus another queen bed in the open living area, with two chairs and a coffee table. Each bed had a big TV, and the living area had another big TV, a sofa, a table and chairs for four, and a kitchen that could be closed off. The bathroom was fantastic, with a wonderful shower, a hot bath, and a big double sink. It felt like five-star luxury. The children didn’t want to leave. Thankyou for a truly wonderful stay.
