We found the room clean and cosy, and the staff were really friendly. Their recommendations for nearby pubs were much appreciated. We were able to check in a little before three without any problem. The area was quiet, with plenty of shops and places to eat just a few minutes away on foot. It’s about a 30-minute walk or a 5-10-minute bus ride to the centre. A great guesthouse close to the city. Thanks for a lovely stay!
I travelled solo for the first time and was really worried and nervous, but I’m so glad I picked this place. The service was great, and I felt comfortable and at ease. My room was magic, and a lot of the time I didn’t even want to leave. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!
We had a twin room on the first floor, just right for two friends travelling together. It was cosy and had a lovely little garden out back. The colourful decor felt thoughtful, and the bathroom was clean with great shower pressure. Service was wonderful from the moment we arrived. A great location for exploring Edinburgh, while still tucked away from the crowds and noise. I’d definitely recommend it.
I’m in Edinburgh for the New Year celebrations and paid £170 in advance for one night, with check-in meant to be today. It’s 8pm on New Year’s Eve and I still haven’t received an access code. I’ve spent hours trying to contact the guest house by phone and email with no luck, and I’ve now been waiting in Booking.com’s queue for almost an hour. Some way to start the new year.
The concierge was so friendly, and the guest house itself was peaceful and well equipped. We had a lovely night, helped along by the great location.
