Hotel Roomzzz Edinburgh

The team really made this stay memorable. Manager Dan led with care, Keir quickly came up with sensible solutions, and Yordanka understood what mattered to us when arranging a move to a more suitable space. Javi at the Front Desk was cheerful and considerate throughout. The Roomzzz staff sorted out our concerns and went beyond what we expected. The location is excellent. The furnishings, bedding, bath and kitchen were all generally adequate, though the HVAC made us uncomfortable at times. Even with that issue, the staff’s warmth and professionalism left us with a very positive impression.

We stayed in Room 611 on the 6th floor,(Erkan), which was airy, nicely situated and equipped with the essentials. The housekeeping team kept it spotless and were very helpful. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the room and shared areas, which matters a lot to us. There was also complimentary fresh croissants and coffee at reception whenever we wanted, a lovely start to the morning. The location made sightseeing easy, with historic sites and shopping no more than a 10-minute walk away, even with Edinburgh’s hills and stairs. We did notice a faint cigarette smell coming through the bathroom ventilation, possibly from a shared vent, but it didn’t spoil our stay. My wife and I are already planning to return in the coming months and would like a room on the 7th or 8th floor next time.

The rooms feel more like modern serviced apartments than standard hotel rooms, with a practical, comfortable layout that should work for short or longer stays. Ours had a small kitchenette, fridge, microwave and basic cooking essentials, which gave us useful flexibility. We didn’t have a front-facing room, so I can’t say what that view is like. Getting around was easy from this central spot. York Place tram stops and key bus routes are a short walk away, handy for airport transfers and city travel. Princes Street and plenty of attractions are also within walking distance.

Javi deserves more than five stars from me. He welcomed us warmly and was so well mannered, which meant a lot. Everyone, from the front desk to housekeeping, was friendly, attentive and professional, and they went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. Roomzzz Edinburgh was clean, well maintained and had the essentials for a comfortable, relaxing visit. I’d highly recommend it for the service and pleasant stay.
