We loved the location, close enough to the castle and Royal Mile but away from the city noise and crowds. The staff were excellent and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. On our first night we ate at Nok’s kitchen around the corner, then walked Curcus Lane and along the river Leith through Dean’s Village. We had a lovely stay and would definitely return to this hotel.

The breakfast spread was great, and the service staff were incredible. We spent our first two nights in Edinburgh here and it exceeded what we expected. The staff helped with whatever we needed, from a tea kettle and check-ins to suggestions. It’s very central without being too noisy or busy. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh who wants to stay in New Town. Thank you!

Stockbridge is a fantastic neighborhood, with excellent restaurants and bars just a short walk away. I stayed in the petite townhouse, a good size for one or two people, with a big bathroom and a lovely city view. Coffee was replenished every day, bottled water was available downstairs, and housekeeping left the room immaculate each night. Andy, who works downstairs at night, was especially kind. I enjoyed chatting with him over a gin before bed, and he was a great host. I’d definitely recommend a stay here on your next trip to Edinburgh.

I felt right at home in this gorgeous hotel. Travelling solo, I loved the cozy room at the top, with its view over Edinburgh and beyond. The storm kept me from sleeping much one night, but the howling wind was the reason, and I still felt snug. On my first night I had a lovely vodka martini from the bar. I didn't eat here because there were no vegan choices and so much to explore outside. I love Stockbridge, even more than when I last visited in 2018. The TV kept getting stuck on one channel, but staff put some soya milk in the fridge for me. Lovely staff and a gorgeous building. It was a real treat before a stressful move, and I hope to return one day, unless I end up moving here! 💜💜💜💜
