Right by the water, and what a spot. Carol and Jules were welcoming, excellent hosts. Neither my husband nor I are vegan, but we loved the food. It was delicious and served with real care and passion. The generous portions set you up for the day. We’d recommend it and would happily return.
Carol and Jules were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate us. The breakfasts were fantastic, with clear thought put into every meal. It’s also a handy location for getting from the ferry and catching a bus around. One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed at in the UK.
The two-course vegan breakfast was a real highlight, with so many creative, tasty choices that we definitely didn’t need lunch. Our King room was spacious and very comfortable, with tea, milk and fruit to hand and a sea view from the window. Stonewater House B&B felt warm and homely, and the hosts were friendly and helpful without hovering. It’s in a lovely bay, close to Brodick ferry port and handy for getting around the island. We’d love to visit again.
Carol and Jules made us feel at home straight away, and their suggestions for walks and things to do nearby were really useful. We slept well in a comfortable bed, and the room was clean and well kept. You can adjust the heating, and there’s a good range of teas, coffee and oat milk. Even the soaps smelled great. Breakfast was generous, fresh and delicious. Each evening they share the next day’s menu, and choosing from all the options was tough. We’d definitely stay again.
Breakfast was hearty and filled us up for the day, with a lot of the ingredients coming from the island. We’re not vegan, but we enjoyed all the food they served. Carol and Jules were wonderfully welcoming, and the spacious rooms were clean and comfortable. The front rooms also have a fantastic view. We’ll be back.
