Tigh A Raoin

The location was excellent and easy to find, and the place was modern and very well maintained. The views from the windows were splendid. Fiona was a warm, welcoming and lovely host.

The room and en-suite were spotless and really spacious. They’d thought of the little practical things too, like a place for the kettle and a hairdryer point by the mirror. Breakfast was well cooked, with good quality ingredients, and we both got double-yolk eggs. Fiona's dream B&B is what a B&B should be, with a little extra on top. For the first time in years, I left one feeling there was nothing they could improve.

We had a lovely few days on the Isle of Skye, and Fiona made the stay special. She was kind and helpful, and the views were magnificent. The room was clean and modern, with a great bathroom, and breakfast was amazing. It’s also well placed for getting to Skye’s main sights without a long drive. We’d definitely recommend it.

A quick note about the photos: one previous guest uploaded the wrong ones. The place is the traditional white building in the beautiful field, not the brown log house. As for the stay itself, Fiona is a grand host, the room and breakfast were great, and it’s well located near Portree.
