Our only real complaint was that someone in a room along the corridor was smoking weed, and the smell filled the whole corridor. The location wasn’t too bad, but room 14 was noisy, which is what you get when you pick a hotel on the edge of a busy road. At check-in, a team member named Jordan, I believe, was really friendly and helped us out on occasion.

Paid £35 for a cheap last-minute Friday night stay. The staff were friendly, and my room was clean, tidy and practical. No problems at all. I’d stay again.

Good value, with free parking and starstruck on the site. The rooms at the back are quiet and the stay was comfortable. There’s no lift.

The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size, but I wouldn’t stay here again. Basic room prep had been missed: there was no soap in the bath, no mat for the floor after a bath or shower, and only one hand towel for two people. There was thick dust behind the TV, and it took three remotes to find one that worked. We had only two tea bags in the room. Reception had more tea bags and coffee, but when I went to get some, there was just one tea bag left and nobody there. I was in the area for a funeral nearby. The location didn’t work well for dinner or drinks, since you have to drive, with the hotel behind a motorway service station. There are plenty of places to eat within a 10-minute drive, though. I’d rather pay more for better accommodation.
