Aachen

I stayed for three days in 2011 and had a good experience. The hotel and room were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. I had the best British breakfast here, too. The price was very good, and I can recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was great and included in the price, which was very good value. Just bear in mind it finishes early, with a short serving window if you’ve been out late. The modern rooms were lovely and clean, the beds very comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. It’s a few minutes’ walk to the city centre. We weren’t bothered by noise apart from some traffic. A really nice stay.

We got the room for a very good price for three nights, with breakfast and free Wi-Fi included. It was cleaned every day, and breakfast was good, served until 9 a.m. Bring your own toiletries, though; the towels were clean. The hotel is well located for the popular areas, with Lime Street closer and Central Station not far either. Our room faced the front, and the windows didn’t do much to keep out nightlife noise. They also didn’t close properly, which made the room less comfortable at night. The bathroom water pressure wasn’t great, but we had hot water, so no complaints there.

The lady at reception was lovely. We had a quiet two-night stay in a clean, old-fashioned room, and the mattress was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. Recommended if you’re after a central place to stay in Liverpool.
