I've stayed at EPIC's apartments a few times, and their hotel is just as lovely. The self check-in was simple and easy, as usual. It was spotless, the staff were amazing, and the location is right in the centre. I couldn't fault it.

The room was nice and got tidied every morning. You're close to the Mersey and lots of bars, too. They emailed the entry code on arrival day, but it won't work before your check-in time. Use that same code on your room box and you're sorted. A very decent place to stay.

The location was decent, but getting the front door unlocked was a real struggle. They also didn't reply to my messages on booking.com. And don't count on a city view, my room faced a brick wall.

My room had a balcony and felt more like a suite, with comfortable beds and hardly any noise. The shower was good and had White Company products. Check-in was easy, though the lift was a little slow. This lovely little boutique hotel is right in the heart of Liverpool City Centre, just a two-minute walk from The Ivy and San Carlos. I stayed three nights and would happily come back.
