Bower House

I didn't have to clean anything after checking in, which is a first for me in years of hotel stays. I looked around as part of my usual routine and couldn't find a single thing that needed attention. Whoever handles the cleaning here earns those five star reviews. The place is exceptionally clean and well located, a hidden gem in a city full of hotel options. The price was very fair, and I've never felt more comfortable. Don't hesitate to book.

We had a great stay at Bower House, and the location made getting around by public transport easy. The neighborhood is lovely, and the hotel is cute and good value. Our room was spacious, clean, and pleasant, with a really comfortable bed and nice touches like tea and coffee. We did hear a lot of noise from the people upstairs because the rooms aren't very soundproof. Also, the bathroom door handle broke during our stay, so we couldn't shut the door.

The room was in good condition, though it smelled a bit unpleasant when we arrived. For the price, this hotel is good value.

We only stayed two nights, so that may not be enough time for a full picture. The staff were very helpful and lent us an adapter for our non-UK phones. Still, the bathroom basin was tiny and completely blocked, the radiators stayed cold, and the wall paint was peeling. We could hear every word, footstep, toilet flush, and running tap from the other rooms.
