City Sparrow Apartments

I’m really happy living at City Sparrow Apartments. The apartments are bright, comfortable and spacious, and the building is kept in good condition. Staff are professional and always willing to help. It’s easy to get to everything I need from here, and I’d recommend the community to others.

My unit feels like home, and it’s modern and spacious. The building is well looked after, with friendly staff who are quick to help. Shops and transport are easy to reach from this great location.

I rented a unit at City Sparrow for three months in 2024, and I don’t believe the positive reviews. My sponsor, Stephen, and my beloved dog, Oscar, died after, I believe, being poisoned in unit B in May 2024. I wasn’t home that day. When I returned, Stephen was unwell and told me he’d been drinking the tap water and showering, and my dog had too. Stephen had to go to his office, then I learned he had died unexpectedly that same day. A few days later, I found my dog dead too. When I raised this with the managers, I felt they used a dubious way to get me out of the property, even though I’d just paid a full month’s rent. I never got my £3000 back. All of Stephen’s belongings disappeared too. He used to live in Finsbury Park, and his online information, social media accounts and bank accounts were emptied. Payments made through links sent by text made my friend an ideal victim, in my view. Stay away and avoid them at any cost. They don’t even have a Southwark council license to run their business there. This is absolutely serious.

The building is always clean, the community is peaceful, and maintenance requests are dealt with quickly and professionally. I’ve had a wonderful experience living at City Sparrow Apartments.
