We left without a refund and ended up sitting in a nearby Starbucks trying to find somewhere else. The property was disgraceful: the floors felt unsafe, there was an unpleasant smell, and the electrical wiring and appliances were unsafe and dirty. We didn't even go into the bathroom. I can't recommend it at all.

The bathroom was the worst part: no shower curtain, no hot water in the shower, and neither the bath nor basin had a plug, so getting properly clean wasn't possible. The fixtures, furniture, and fittings were all worn out, and the stairs leading into the building were awful too. The photos make it look better than it is. It wasn't appalling, but it was definitely grotty and poorly maintained.

The room wasn't bad for the price and had been recently renovated, but the building itself was terrible. People were taking hard drugs by the main entrance, and the area felt very bad. There's an Airbnb in the building, and it seems to have a lot of potential as a good place to stay. I wonder whether it's privately or state owned.

The decor is nice, and it's close to Muslim stores, which is useful for Muslim tourists. Beyond that, it wasn't good. The window kept making annoying noises for no apparent reason when it was cloudy.

Cockroaches everywhere. Dirtiest, nastiest apartment I've ever stayed in.
