We were very satisfied with our stay in London. We stayed in the other house, opposite this "Annexe". The room was great, and the neighborhood had a nice community feel, with an industrial vibe and family houses. It is a bit far out, but once you get used to the trains, getting to the city centre in under an hour is manageable. We took the Southeastern train system to Woolwich Dockyard. Several lines share those tracks, so be careful. It’s about 30 minutes by train to London Bridge or Cannon Street, with another 10-20 minutes on the underground if you’re going further. The last train service is around 23pm. There aren’t many restaurants nearby or a big supermarket, but there is a small supermarket about a seven-minute walk away that works pretty well. It’s a charming, more affordable place to stay than the centre.

The host was exceptional and followed up even before I checked in. Check-in was seamless. I’d read plenty of good reviews before booking, and the stay lived up to them. I’d return whenever I’m in the London area.

We stayed for three a couple of weekends ago. It was absolutely great for the price. I sent the Lodge a few minor tweaks directly, but nothing was major. I’d stay again.

I stayed Monday to Friday for eight weeks while working, and it’s such a lovely place. The hosts can’t do enough for you. Highly recommended.
