I had a larger basement room for an overnight work stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom decent and the facilities were good enough for what I needed. Breakfast had good options and the restaurant area was nice. I’d come back with friends and would recommend it. The WiFi was down for my whole stay, and there was no mobile signal either, so I couldn’t contact my family while I was there.

You can walk to a lot of attractions in about 15 minutes, and the location is superb. The rooms could use a bit more cleaning, but there’s a good amount of space. Breakfast is a buffet for 8 GBP, open to people who aren’t staying at the hotel too. There’s a wide choice, including eggs, baked beans, bacon, sausages, drinks, fruit, yoghurt, granola, croissants and bread. It gets very busy at weekends, but it’s good value. Everyone we met at the hotel and breakfast area was kind, attentive and cheerful, and always ready to answer questions or help. I’ll be back!

For my first trip to London, this was a great base. It’s a few minutes’ walk from St James Park tube station, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. With the Circle/District and Jubilee lines close by, getting around the city was easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with enough space for what I needed on my own. I’d choose a larger one if I came with someone. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Each evening in the lounge, I enjoyed the 2 for £9 happy hour with Nir (sorry if I’ve misspelled his name!), Destiny and Andrea. Andrea even made me an ice pack after I came back with a sore knee from a day of walking and sightseeing. Breakfast was a generous spread for the price, and I enjoyed the dinner options on evenings when I was too tired to go out. Free coffee and tea were available all day. The front desk clerk working when I checked in on Sunday February 8th was also friendly and helped arrange luggage storage. I’m glad I chose this place for my first visit.

Westminster is right outside, but the hotel itself was quiet and relaxed. I was in town for an event at the House of Lords and needed a place to rest, recharge and be ready for it. This worked exactly as I’d hoped. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and genuinely quiet, coffee is free around the clock, and the staff were warm and easy to deal with from check-in to checkout. hub by Premier Inn Westminster Abbey offers a lot for its price. I’d stay again without hesitation.
