Sanderson London, a Morgans Originals hotel

Ali at The Sanderson is a world-class concierge, and Abhi and Raf at the front desk were outstanding too. The whole team was sharp, friendly, and helpful, and the location is great. On our recent trip, we had some complicated logistics to sort out, but Ali calmly got everything moving so we could relax and enjoy the weekend. Abhi and Raj also handled the accommodations and went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. This will be our go-to in London from now on. I’d highly recommend it!

The staff made the stay for me. Everyone, from reception to housekeeping, was warm, professional, and quick to help, and check-in and checkout were easy. My room was clean, modern, and quiet despite the central location, with comfortable bedding, thoughtful amenities, and a lovely view. It was also ideally placed for the Underground, major sights, and good restaurants. I had a fantastic time in London and would happily stay again.

The rooms are good, but that’s about all I can say for the place now. I stay in London at least once a week, and lately I’d rather book somewhere else where there’s some sign of life. The bar and restaurant have both been empty on my last few visits, and the whole hotel feels sad and soulless, like a conveyor belt. It used to be fun, with a lovely, lively bar. There’s no minibar in the room either. I don’t think management understands London.

After a full day out exploring London, the Sanderson was a lovely place to come back to. It’s tucked just two blocks from Oxford Street, so getting to the main landmarks was easy. The food was consistently good, with plenty to choose from, and the atmosphere made meals enjoyable. Our room was stylish, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for London. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout, keen to make sure everything went well. I had an exceptional stay and would gladly return or recommend the Sanderson.
