The portions are generous and the food is amazing, all for a reasonable price. From the moment you arrive, the staff make you feel welcome. Definitely worth a visit if you want a good, filling meal.

The carvery was great value, with tender, melt in the mouth meats and all the veg. The bar staff were lovely, and the young women working in the carvery were really pleasant too. We'll be back very soon!

A straightforward, sensibly priced place to stay, and much better than the cheaper chain hotels. The rooms are traditional but a decent size, very clean, and I had no complaints. Staff were friendly, breakfast was generous, and there was lots of parking. Excellent value.

The breakfast was disappointing, but the quiet area and the staff made the stay for me. They were amazing, friendly, smiley, welcoming, and accommodating, with good humour, chat, and banter. The rooms are good value for the area and look nice at first glance. There were a few minor faults, so I'd call it a reasonable stay overall.

My room and the poor night's sleep spoiled the stay. On arrival, the entrance looked nice and the staff were attentive. The bar closed early, at 9:30, so I bought a few drinks before it shut and then sat in the reception area, which was pleasant enough.
