Our room, number 1, was spotless and had everything we needed. The owners welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived. We left the car parked throughout the stay, and they ordered a taxi when we asked. The guest house is surprisingly close to the city centre, and in the good weather we enjoyed walking back through the Arboretum. We stayed two nights in July for my graduation, wanting a proper night's sleep rather than a city centre hotel full of student revellers. Greenwood Lodge delivered: there was no traffic or other noise, and we woke well rested. Breakfast was fabulous and set us up for the day. We really enjoyed staying at the Greenwood Lodge and will return. I'd recommend it to friends travelling to Nottingham.

I've been back to this B&B several times and it's been a great experience each time. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the place sits on a quiet side street, tucked away from the city bustle. Each room has its own character, and the breakfasts are among the best you'll find. I'd happily return for more holidays in Nottingham and recommend it.

We enjoyed breakfast in the Conservatory and would happily recommend staying here. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the room was tidy, clean and well presented. We were here for one night.
