Knights Rest B&B

The en-suite room had everything I needed, there were plenty of breakfast options, and the social areas were great. I could also park my motorbike safely overnight. From my first phone call through to checkout, the service and hospitality were excellent. Vera and Martin were always smiling and helpful, knew the area well, and even booked my ferry with the bike at a discounted price. I won't hesitate to stay again on my next visit to the Isle of Wight. They run a very good B&B.

There’s plenty of private parking, and the place is cosy with great facilities. The owners are lovely, friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely too. The location is ideal, close to the cliff lift, beach, restaurants, pubs and shops, while still being in a quiet area. Shanklin is attractive, has great amenities and makes a good base for getting to the island's attractions. I'll definitely stay again.

I’m still here, but wanted to post now because I’m so glad I came. I spent days reading Shanklin hotel and B&B reviews and wasn't sure the knights rest was for me, but the lovely feedback made me trust my gut and book. Vera is an amazing host. She gets the balance right, without being over-attentive, and goes the extra mile to help you feel comfortable. I fell asleep in the beautiful conservatory and she put a blanket over me. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the dining room is gorgeous, and breakfast was cooked to perfection. It’s perfectly placed between the beach and high street. I can't thank them enough for making me feel so welcome. Thank you!! 😊

We stay here every year because it feels like a lovely home from home. Vera is so friendly and funny, and treats you with the utmost respect. She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and nothing is too much trouble.
