Beach House

Avoid it unless every park bench is taken. The service was abysmal, and this felt like an overpriced flop house, more like a scruffy pub with rooms than a hotel. Our room was 4degrees, about the same as outside. We turned the heater all the way up and went looking for food. Two hours later, it was barely warm. I had to insist on changing rooms before they reluctantly showed us another one that was only slightly warmer.

The girls on staff were fantastic. They worked all day without stopping and kept smiling, and the service was brilliant. Tables were constantly cleared of food and drinks. Our group went to the swan for a west life tribute act, and the food was beautiful. The show was a 10/10!

We had an early ferry booked, so stayed here on a Thursday night. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the rooms were clean and tidy. I’d happily stay again for another early ferry.

We’ll definitely stay again next time we travel to Ireland, and I highly recommend it. Dogs are welcome, the staff are outstanding and friendly, and our room was exceptionally clean. The beds had fresh sheets and were comfortable, with plenty of space for our family of four. Getting to the ferry was quick and easy.
