The free car park is about two minutes up the road after 6pm. It’s a shame the hotel seems to focus its food on weddings and events, since the all-you-can-eat buffet has been cancelled. Ken still put together a feast that could rival a high-class restaurant. His lamb curry had a lovely, refreshing spice without being too strong, and the BBQ wings had just the right smokiness and a rich sauce. My other half isn’t keen on heavily spiced food, but she polished off a big bowl of butter chicken and a large plate of rice. The all-you-can-eat option feels like a lost gem in Tamworth. Thanks, Ken, for a lovely meal.

Getting around and seeing the area was easy from this location. The room was spotless, modern, and really comfortable, with thoughtful little touches. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout, and made a real effort to get everything right. The facilities and relaxed atmosphere were excellent, and the service went beyond what I expected. I had a fantastic stay last weekend and would happily recommend the hotel. I’ll definitely come back.

The two staff members I met were great, and the location suited what I needed perfectly. It’s recently reopened, though the room felt very dated and could use some TLC.

For £6.99, you get a freshly cooked full breakfast with two rashers of bacon, two sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash brown, beans, toast, and a mug of tea. Great value, and the best breakfast deal in Tamworth.
