Tbilisi Park Hotel

The room we got wasn't the one we had booked and paid for. The photos clearly showed something different, yet the manager, DAVIT, didn't even apologize. The hotel staff were more considerate: they apologized and tried to make the situation easier for us. DAVIT's technical problems caused us a lot of trouble, and we ended up having to suggest possible solutions ourselves. It's upsetting when a representative of your own people in your own country shows so little basic humanity to a guest who chose this hotel among many others. I don't understand why he has this position, since he falls short of even the minimum professionalism and courtesy needed with clients.

The park is fun, and the place itself is calm. The room was good for the price, and the AC worked well. Breakfast was delicious, with a kind guy looking after it. The man in charge of the bar was gentle and kind too, thank you. The shisha is really good.

The food was great, and the bathrooms were great too. The location is good, though it also feels unsafe. My friend’s luggage was stolen after being left in an area without surveillance; the golf cart was parked there and was stolen too. The service was okay, but orders took a while to arrive and there weren't enough tissue boxes. The rooms were very small, dirty, and unclean.

The only real plus is that the hotel is next to a park. The room view shown in the pictures is very limited, and sunlight doesn't come through the windows. The restaurant on floor -1 is damp, with leaking pipes that sometimes drip onto your table. Its walls aren't painted and the floor is very dirty. There were ants on the table, too. There's an iron in the hotel, but no ironing board, which is really inconvenient. We paid 80 USD dollars, and it didn't feel worth it. I wouldn't stay here.
