Panos was quick to help throughout our stay, with taxi and beach club advice and anything else we needed. The place was cleaned daily, and they topped up the coffee pods and towels each time. We also loved the breakfast crates delivered every morning: eggs, fresh orange juice, yogurt and fruit, plus different treats from day to day like croissants, little sandwiches, or scrambled egg on toast. The house has views all around, including sunset and sunrise if you’re up early enough. Inside, it’s beautifully done in a modern, Bali-like style, which I really liked. There’s air conditioning in every room too. It was our first villa stay after three trips to Santorini, and it made the whole family happy. Definitely a 10/10 stay at 360 Caldera House.
The food was fabulous, from the moussaka and Greek salad to the dolmades. Great view too.
The sunset was lovely, but the location was a real problem for us. There are hardly any shops or restaurants nearby, so getting to them meant hiking almost a mile uphill. The taxi number on the information card didn’t work. When I asked for the right one, they offered to book a taxi, then charged us $35 for a ride that should have cost $30. It arrived late and was shared with other people, yet everyone was charged the full price. That felt like a ripoff, and I wouldn’t stay here again. The room itself was uncomfortable in several ways. The shower is cruise-ship narrow and has no door, so water ends up all over the bathroom floor. The sink splashes everywhere too. The bathroom often smelled, and you can’t put toilet paper in the toilet. On the first day, the bathroom garbage wasn’t emptied and the bed wasn’t made until I asked. The floor was very dirty when we arrived, like it hadn’t been mopped in a while. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the blankets were thin. Breakfast was meant to arrive at 8 each morning, but it was late all four days and delayed the start of our day. It was good on day one, then the same boring food every day after that. The outdoor tub was warm the first night, but not on the others. The windows felt janky and wouldn’t shut all the way. On our last night, the wind whistled through and kept me awake.
The team was so helpful, and the place worked really well for a stay with kids. From the jacuzzi, the kids could enjoy the sunset, and the views over Thirassia island, Oia and Imerovigli are panoramic. It’s a perfect spot to watch the sun go down.
Amazing views.
