Vasiliki made us feel at home, shared helpful ideas for what to do and where to go, including when to catch the sunset, and welcomed us with delicious cake. The private terrace has a clear view of the volcano, and the home itself has a full kitchen, a roomy modern living area with lots of blankets, a lofted king bed, a cave bedroom, and a shower facing the sunrise. I honestly can’t think of anything I disliked. This is hands down the best place to stay on Santorini. My selfish hope is that it stays a hidden gem, so I can still afford it when I come back!

This traditional cave home is a special, almost magical place. It stays naturally cool inside, and the caldera view is breathtaking, with endless blue all around.
The house was a real gem, roomy, luxurious, and still traditional. We could unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and watch the sunrise right from the bedroom. It was fairly secluded, too, while still giving us panoramic views and a great location. Everything we needed was there, from coffee, blankets, soap, and towels to books. Our host welcomed us late, arranged the transfer, and had breakfast essentials and an aperitif ready. Since we were there over Easter, she made sure the children were comfortable, explained local traditions, and shared useful information about buses, restaurants, and viewpoints. A dream stay.
