Cosmoia Cave House

Elizabeth made us feel right at home. She was warm, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which really lifted the stay. The location is hard to beat, and everything was clean, cozy, and well looked after. A hidden gem, and I’d absolutely recommend experiencing it.

Mateo met us at the parking area and helped us get settled. The view was great, and there were plenty of places within walking distance. We stayed for two days in early January, when many places were closed, so having a rental car helped us explore. Our room had a tiny kitchen, and we picked up snacks and breakfast at a local Mini market in Oai. We loved the cave-house feel and the decorations. We asked for the hot tub to be filled and heated, and it was ready, which was especially nice in winter. My wife and I had a great stay and would come back.

Like the other one-star reviewer, I found the owner Haris extremely unpleasant. Because of covid, my family can no longer be sure we’ll be able to travel. Our stay is still more than three months away, but he refuses to refund us. It’s horrible. He said, “the covid situation is pretty good no reason to cancel.” In my opinion, that showed a total lack of empathy and was extremely greedy.

Elisabeth gave us great advice before we traveled. When we arrived, Mateo welcomed us, explained how everything worked, and carried our luggage up to the accommodation. I highly recommend this rental in Santorini.
