Pension Markos

Anita looked after us so well, and even let us check out late, which was brilliant with the kids. The staff were great, and we enjoyed the pool and spa. The location worked well, though the walk into town was a tough climb up and down the hill.

The pool was clean and the restaurant was good, but I didn’t feel we got good value for money. The hotel is near Perissa beach. Marko tries his best, but his English isn’t very strong, so sorting out questions or problems at the hotel could be difficult. The air conditioner leaked unless the water jug was changed each day. I understand why that was needed, but I wish we’d been told.

Markos was such a lovely host and ready to help with anything. The place was very clean, and the beach and restaurants are close by. They also have their own restaurant, Mamas place, where the food was awesome. I’d definitely come back.

The family running this place made us feel at home. It’s a good choice if you’re on a budget and still want to be near the beach, though there’s nothing fancy about it. They also cook fresh meals every day at their restaurant, handy when you don’t feel like going out for food. Definitely recommend it.
