The sunset views and location were fantastic, and the rooms had a cool, unique feel. Staff were great too, carrying my bag up and down all the steps and explaining the services and what to expect. Still, this was the stop I’d looked forward to most on my trip, and for several reasons it ended up being the most disappointing. I woke up twice with tiny ants in my bed. Housekeeping responded quickly both times, but it was still unnerving. For most of the first day, I couldn’t use my “private plunge pool” because it was connected directly to one being used by a family with small kids who splashed and screamed for eight hours. The next day, a large wedding party next door walked across the roof of the neighboring building and played loud music on a Bluetooth speaker for several hours, making the beautiful outdoor spaces unusable again. I’d probably return for the views and location, but I’d definitely keep my expectations lower.

The view from Poet House was a dream, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We had lots of space, towels, robes and blankets, plus a fridge and kettle. The team even surprised us with a room upgrade and a lovely breakfast. From the warm welcome at Sophia Luxury Suites in Imerovigli to the help with our luggage and smooth transfer, everyone made us feel cared for, almost like family. We felt incredibly lucky to be away from home and looked after so well. Thank you to the manager and the whole staff. We made unforgettable memories and would highly recommend this place in Santorini.

The cliffside views were gorgeous, and the soaking pool was just right for cooling off on hot days while watching the sunset. The patio was a nice place to rest between outings, and restaurants and a few shops selling drinks, water and snacks were nearby. Still, I wouldn't stay here again. The island is beautiful, but if we return, we'd choose somewhere off the cliff. Getting to the room meant navigating oddly shaped stairs, something the booking site should make clearer. Anyone with mobility issues would have a hard time. The room was spacious, but the mattress on a concrete base was uncomfortable, and two lights didn't work. Our room was ten minutes from the hotel's front desk, so getting help promptly was difficult. Porter hours were limited, and our early departure for a 9am flight seemed to inconvenience the staff. Room service arrived cold and wrong every morning. I had to send repeated WhatsApp messages to get corrections, and my concerns were ignored. The location and views are lovely, but there are things that need attention.

The peaceful atmosphere made for a relaxing break, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our four nights at Sophia Luxury Suites. Our room was clean and looked after well. The location also worked nicely, with lovely views and nearby attractions easy to reach. We really enjoyed the stay.
