They were rude or outright disrespectful in their messages after I left. I paid almost $1,000 and stayed only a few days, but they refused even a partial refund and wouldn't check me out despite my having already left. They also don't make it clear that the charge is per person, and won't let you have guests at any time unless you pay extra. The location felt inconvenient and in a bad part of town. Worst place I've ever stayed, and the hosts weren't hospitable.

The place was spotless, right by the lake, and close to everything. We went as a family of four and felt at home. It was cozy, and the host set us up with some really cool local boat tours. We had an awesome time!

Our bigger lake house had plenty of room for the four of us, and could really suit a family of 8-10 or even more. We enjoyed our two nights there. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming, with a breathtaking view of Lake Atitlan. My two-year-old son loved being outside and wanted to spend most of our time out there. I highly recommend it.

Our villa had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big kitchen, and several patios where we could relax or eat. It's a lovely place to bring friends or family. The quiet neighborhood overlooks the lake and volcanoes, making it a great spot for a peaceful getaway. Downtown is about a 20-minute walk.

The villas are gated and felt safe, with pretty, well-kept grounds, nice staff, lake access, and good amenities. There are lake views when it's not cloudy, and having bottled water was a real plus. Getting there involves driving along a stretch of gravel road. The surrounding area seemed undeveloped, with lots of local people, vendors, and stray dogs. It felt a little sketchy, though nothing bad happened to us. Dogs barking outside the gate at night made it hard to sleep, which is why I gave it three stars.
