Noble Park Hotel

The room was freezing, the heating didn't work at all even after we turned it up, and the carpet was disgusting. The bathroom was tiny, and the disposable towels really annoyed me. The keys didn't work, and then we found the room itself wouldn't lock. The staff member said he couldn't do anything, so I had to sleep without a working lock and felt completely unsafe. Even getting in was strange, there wasn't a proper hotel door, just plastic things. I was there in January and there was no heat. I would've rated this negative 10 if I could. It sucked, felt like a scam, and I'd tell people to stay away and not fall for it.

The room looked nothing like the advertised photos. It was filthy, with heavy mould and a shocking buildup of dust under the bed, which felt like a genuine health risk. The bathroom drain was almost blocked and nearly flooded during a shower. Absolutely shocking and unsanitary. I'd give it 0/5 if I could. Do not stay here under any circumstances.

The noise made it impossible to rest. There was no soundproofing, and our very loud neighbours kept the volume up until 1 am, then started again at 8. I was on holiday and the whole place felt shifty. My child was even afraid there might be bedbugs. I don't know what made me stay here, and I wouldn't recommend anyone try this ghost house. It wasn't worth the money. There are better options, and even a 3-star rating is too generous. It felt like a 1- or 2-star motel.

Our new hotel was cheaper, much cleaner, and in a better location. After the mess at Noble Park Hotel, we couldn't stay there. We'd booked four nights based on a 7.4/10 rating on trip.com, but checking in revealed a very small room, which we expected in Hong Kong, and much worse problems: a used cotton swab, a strong smell, a bed frame that broke when I sat on it, and insects running around. I was afraid of what else we might find. When we asked for a refund, the first woman at reception was unhelpful. She said she couldn't do anything, blamed the room's condition on the “typhoon,” then got annoyed, switched to Cantonese, and suddenly said she couldn't speak English anymore. She also claimed no manager was available. Luckily, her colleague was a genuinely nice guy. He apologized, showed us a couple of other rooms that were just as dirty, then spent 30 minutes negotiating for us. We eventually got a full 100% refund. He thoughtfully suggested we take photos to support the request. Credit to that helpful staff member, but I absolutely wouldn't recommend Noble Park Hotel. The hygiene, broken furniture, and first receptionist's lack of professionalism made it one of my worst hotel experiences.
