Dash Living on Prat

Suki was really friendly and made sure we had a great stay. Dash Living is clean, modern, and comfortable, and it helped make our time in Hong Kong relaxing. The location is convenient, with restaurants nearby. I’d recommend staying here.

I booked with some doubts after reading the rough reviews, but wanted to see for myself. The location really is excellent. If someone thinks otherwise, haha, show me a better one. For what I paid, the room was worth five stars. It was mostly clean, though the carpet outside and a few spots were dirty. The limited cleaning seems to be the hotel’s sustainability policy. If you want the sort of deep cleaning you’d expect at Hilton or Marriott, you’ll need to pay for that kind of place. Service gets four stars from me. The staff were generally fine, though the overall feel wasn’t quite as polished as a five-star hotel. It wasn’t bad like some reviews made it sound. I’d come back because the value works for me.

There are plenty of shops nearby, and the location is reasonably good. That’s about the only positive I found. The room service was basically someone coming in for two and a half minutes to empty the bin. They didn’t change the sheets or clean the room, which I saw myself. During my stay of more than three nights, I got just one roll of toilet paper, and the bed covers weren’t changed either. When the bathroom roll ran out, I had to go to reception and wait over 40 minutes for another one. The place felt extremely cramped, and the cleanliness fell short. It was a pathetic experience. Even an Airbnb provides better service and more supplies. Spend a little extra on a better hotel, this one wasn’t worth it.

The room didn’t come with a toothbrush or slippers, which I think should be included at this price. One of the reception staff had a really bad attitude and wasn’t helpful at all. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
