There are lots of restaurants, bars, and shops close to the apartment, and the spot itself is very good. The building, though, wasn’t one of the best we saw: bins everywhere, a broken elevator, and a really unpleasant smell. Maybe you can overlook that if you only need a place to sleep and plan to be out all day. The shower didn’t drain properly, so every time we used it the bathroom flooded. We told the host, but no one got back to us. Parking isn’t free, spaces are hard to find, and you can only pay for up to three hours. We used the TPark app to pay online from wherever we were. It wasn’t the cheapest option, but at least we could see the car whenever we returned. There are other places relatively close by where you can pay by the day.

The photos on booking didn’t match what we found. The entrance to the old building was filthy, the walls were dirty, the floor sticky, and there was no toilet paper. The Wi-Fi didn’t work properly and there was no heating. The lift to the 3rd floor kept being out of order, and when we got to the apartment, the keycard wasn’t there. We had to walk 1.6 km to pick it up, which was outrageous. Maintenance came but didn’t fix the problem, and they never brought the two extra towels I asked for. Awful experience.

We left after the first night and booked somewhere else. The courtyard was always open, so we didn’t feel safe, and the building was old, dirty and full of rubbish. The apartment also looked different from the Booking photos. It may seem like a good deal because the price is low and the place looks modern, but there’s no parking included, which is a nightmare in central Budapest. Honestly, it was an awful experience. I’d choose a hotel instead, definitely not this scam.

The room itself was nice, but the shower handle was broken. I told management in time, and they said they’d fix it, but they didn’t. The building is old and smelled damp. It’s okay overall, though a bit overpriced for the service.

The whole building was filthy, and walking in felt like arriving in hell. Staff gave me the wrong code and locker. When I tried to reach them, they just told me to wait without saying how long. Very unprofessional. Please watch my attached video before booking.
