FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach, Seminyak, Bali

Ardi from the Food & Beverage team made our meals especially enjoyable. He was warm, attentive, and professional. The resort itself is beautifully kept, with a thoughtful design, a relaxing atmosphere, and a good sense of privacy. I had a wonderful stay at FuramaXclusive and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable and pleasant.

The rooms are spacious, and having two separate rooms plus a kitchen and lounge worked so well for travelling with kids. The location is handy too, right on the beach, near eateries, and with a Carla day spa next door. But the pool and outdoor areas badly need renovation. Repairs were happening during our stay, with noise, water, and dust throughout the day. The kids' pool area had mats coming apart and rust everywhere. Breakfast had the basics, like toast, pastries, eggs, and fried rice, but it was all very dry and overcooked. Some variety on different days would've been nice. This place could offer much more.

The staff were trying their best, but the whole place felt unsafe and dirty, and the kitchen practices were poor. The breakfast hall flooded too, with rain pouring from a roof pipe onto the floor where people were eating. Our room door was a double slider, but one side had been screwed shut. The gap was too narrow to roll our pram through, so we had to take our daughter out and dismantle the pram just to get them both inside. Whenever it rained, water came through gaps by the glass walls and soaked anything left on the floor. The hallways were also wet and slippery in the rain because the roofing didn't keep it out. The kettle looked ancient, and its switch was missing or broken, so we had to put a finger into the gap to turn it on. You had to hold the shower handle the whole time, or its own weight would turn the water off. The kids' pool didn't seem safe for a two-year-old, and I don't think a child that age could use it. To reach the rooms from reception, every guest had to cross a slippery timber bridge over a 1.6-meter pool, with no railings or barriers. If a child fell, they'd end up in the water. There was no proper pram or wheelchair access either, just a poorly designed, unsafe timber ramp. My sister nearly swallowed a piece of the steel scouring brush used to clean pots, which had got into one of the breakfast dishes. The floors were cracked, and there were wide gaps by the glass walls along the hallways and balconies. If a small child fell there, they might drop from the fourth floor to the second. The whole stay was traumatic, and the place was unfit to rent.

Angar at the front desk and his team really looked after us. Before our midnight flight, we'd used the free luggage storage, and Angar then offered and arranged a complimentary shower without us even asking. We felt very well taken care of for the airport transfer. We spent a week at FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach Seminyak in late November 2025, with our family of three, including our four-year-old daughter's first visit to Bali. The hotel is across from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Our one-bedroom room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and staff were consistently friendly and quick to help. Breakfast had lots of fresh, tasty choices each morning. We enjoyed the pool, and our daughter loved both the water play area and the indoor kids' space. The spa was another relaxing part of the stay. I'd recommend this hotel to people visiting Seminyak or Legian for the location, food, and hospitality.
