The central spot made it easy to walk to Kuta beach in just a few minutes, and there’s plenty of nightlife and food nearby, including the legendary warung Made. The hotel was clean overall, though the building has an old-fashioned style that brought back memories of Kuta before the newer hotels arrived. The staff were attentive and friendly. When we needed something, the manager followed up promptly and handled things professionally.

For an inexpensive stay near the beach and nightlife, this place is worth considering. I booked a Superior room and found the extra cost worthwhile. The air conditioning was good, WiFi was okay and the swimming pool is large. I’d skip breakfast next time. You have to choose a time the night before, then they bring it to your room. I’d stay here again.

The location was good, but I wouldn’t call this a resort. Check-in was fixed at 2pm. I arrived in the morning and was told my room was ready, yet I still had to wait over three hours to get in. They weren’t flexible at all. The toilet smelled, there were lots of cockroaches, and the bed felt like I was sleeping on the springs.

The beautiful pool and friendly, helpful staff were the main bright spots, along with being near the beach and some good restaurants. The place is set back from the road, so it was quiet, and it’s cheap. That’s why I gave it three stars. Who needs sleep? My budget room had no fridge, the air conditioning was extremely noisy, and WiFi only worked around the pool and lobby. The bed was hard, breakfast choices were limited and not very good, and the place felt grubby and run down. There were just three pool loungers, and they were dirty.
