I've spent long stretches here on several visits, and it's a cosy, family-run guest house tucked into a quiet gang just off Legian street. The beach is walkable, with good restaurants and shops just nearby. Rooms are clean and roomy, security is good, and the staff are kind and helpful. They serve simple, tasty food for little money, and the coffee is great. I think it's very good value.
The toilet was really dirty, and the curtains wouldn't close all the way, so there was no way to get proper privacy or block the sunlight. There were no water bottles, towels, toilet paper, soap, or shower gel either.
The café is nice, the location works well, and the price is reasonable. The staff are very friendly, but the room is quite run down even by my low standards. Breakfast costs extra, so I marked it down a bit.
I love coming back to Ned’s Hideaway, and I'll definitely stay again ❤️
