The management company returned our deposit quickly and seemed genuinely surprised by what the owner had done. Still, our booking for the whole month of June 2022 was canceled just three days before check-in, after we'd sent a deposit equal to half the monthly rent about two weeks beforehand. The company said the owner had decided to stay in the villa. We had to scramble to find somewhere else, which caused a terrible inconvenience. If you're planning a stay, know that even a large deposit doesn't guarantee you'll get to stay.

Such a nice, quiet villa. A good place to relax or have a retreat.
