We'd stayed at other Villa Bugis properties before, but Villa Gembira was new for us and we had no issues. The staff were great, as usual. Breakfast was included, with a choice of Indonesian or Western, and dinner was prepared at the villa for a few nights. Grab Food worked well too. Seminyak is a great base, close to the beach and lots of restaurants. If you're arranging your own car, it's better to meet it outside the villa area, for example at Bintang Supermarket, since some drivers have trouble finding their way in. Villa Bugis also has transport you can book ahead. I'd recommend this place.

The Bugis group were wonderful from the airport pickup to the end of our stay. Communication was excellent, and breakfast arrived on time each day and was delicious. The staff were amazing throughout. We can't fault the stay and will keep coming back.

Villa Gembira was a relaxing escape, with a beautiful garden and pool. The villa is spacious and beautifully put together, combining modern comfort with Balinese charm. It went beyond what I expected. The staff made the stay memorable, keeping everything in great shape, arranging transport and suggesting local places, always with a smile. The location is handy for beaches and good restaurants. I can't recommend it enough for a peaceful, luxurious Bali getaway. We'll definitely return.

The grounds and pool are nice, and the staff looked after us really well. The three-bedroom villa is above average. It's a little out of the way, so getting to shops and restaurants means walking, but the staff can arrange cheap Bali bluebird taxis and that makes getting around quite easy.

My friends had a wonderful stay at Villa Gembira. The place was kept meticulously, and the staff were so helpful. Having a msaage arranged right there in the villa was such a treat. I'd also highly recommend getting a meal cooked by a chef in the villa, exceptional!
